28th - Rory Clements celebrates the launch of his latest thriller Evil in High Places. Rory will be in conversation with local author Jay Warton. More info here.

4th - Ragnar Jonasson in discussion with Barry Forshaw – the two will be discussing the celebrated author’s career so far and his new book The Mysterious Case of the Missing Crime Writer. Let’s hope he turns up! More info here.


TBC - We’re excited to be hosting the Diamond Dagger Award winner, Martin Edwards, with a host TBC. The two will be chatting about his new title Miss Winter in the Library with a Knife which will be published this month.

We’re keen to announce confirmation that Lindsey Davis will be joining us to discuss and celebrate her latest historical thriller There will be Bodies which has an October publication date. Check back for more info.

Abir Mukherjee will be visiting Bodies to talk about the latest in his Captain Wyndham and Banerjee Mysteries series – The Burning Grounds.


Jim Kelly will be at Bodies launching the paperback edition of Cambridge Siren


22nd - Crime & Nourishment – Our flagship event is back in its autumn guise. The familiar format of authors having just 5 ninutes to chat about their book before being rung out! A brilliantly informal event where you can chat with the authors, buy books, drink tea and eat cake. What’s not to like? Confirmed authors so far: Bonnie Burke-Patel, Susan Grossey, Remi Kone, Alison Stockham and others to be confirmed.


Popular historical author FionaVeitch Smith will be holding one of her wildly popular Murder Mystery Evenings in the bookshop. You know how limited the space is…! So make sure you get your name on the list ASAP!
